How do you flatten a Floyd Rose bridge?
Once the block is removed, go to the back of the guitar in even increments on each side, loosen the claw screws until the bridge is leveled with the body. As you do this, you should start to see the bridge level out, and your strings flatten back to pitch.
Does a Floyd Rose need to be level?
The Floyd Rose tremolo should be close to level with the body of your guitar. It's okay if it is slightly raised. If it is raised too high or sinks into the guitar, you need to adjust the screws and springs. Step 2: Once your guitar is in tune, tighten the locking nuts.
Why is my Floyd Rose going out of tune?
1) Your most likely issue is the guitar's setup itself. So before you assume it's the bridge, have the intonation, neck angle, etc checked. If that's off, the bridge won't function correctly. 2) The setup of the Floyd itself has 2 critical issues.
