Why is my guitar easier to play with a capo?
it's a lot easier to play anything if I use a capo. there are two reasons: 1- the frets get smaller from the top of the neck till the bottom therefore your fingers will fill the frets better when using the capo (due to smaller frets) and you will feel that playing is easier .
Does a capo make guitar easier?
Using a capo will almost always make the chords feel a little easier which will allow you to play more songs and have more fun which will encourage you to practice more. All of which will make you a better player.
Does capo affect tone?
no it doesn't affect the tone. it just makes the chords sound better because it helps the strings to stay in an almost perfect tune.
What is the advantage of using a capo?
A capo gives the guitar a brighter sound.
Capos can prove especially useful if you have two guitarists playing a song together. One can play the chords without a capo — in the key of C, for example. The other guitarist can play the chords in, say, the key of G with a capo at the 5th fret, sounding in C.
