What is 5th position on guitar?
A position gets its name from the fret that your first finger plays. So, if you're playing in fifth position, for example, your first finger plays the fifth fret, your second finger plays the sixth fret, your third finger plays the seventh fret, and your fourth finger plays the eighth fret.
What is fretboard diagram?
A Fretboard diagram is a line drawing of the guitar fretboard: These diagrams are used to show patterns of notes on the fretboard: Just like with TAB, the horizontal lines represent the strings with the same bottom-to-top orientation (E A D G B E). The vertical lines represent the frets.
