When a second oocurs in the middle of a pice, the bracket should extend for a measure or two and then end without the closing stroke. When the second ending occurs at the end of a piece or section, the bracket must closed.

Volta Brackets can be used within the music or at the end of the music. Volta Brackets also use specific Bar Lines to clarify their purpose.
