Vibrato before or after tremolo

Vibrato before or after tremolo

Everything before the tremolo gets put into the tremolo's stutter effect. Everything after takes the sound before it and adds whatever effect. So if your tremolo was last, turning it on would put tremolo on all your other effects and as tremolo bum said, it will be very pronounced.

Should tremolo go in effects loop?

Placing a tremolo pedal in an effects loop is also closer to the signal path of an amp with built-in tremolo, but my personal preference is to plug a tremolo pedal into an amp's front end and save the effects loop for other effects.

Where should vibrato pedal go in chain?

The Tremolo, Vibrato or Rotary Sim pedals can slot into different places on your board but should probably be kept towards the end of your signal chain due to the pedal varying the volume of the entire signal.

Which comes first tremolo or delay?

If you want tremolo'd reverb (for example, I'd call a Fender Princeton a reverb-into-tremolo effect), place your reverb before your tremolo. If you want chorus'd delay, try placing your chorus after your delay.

Where does tremolo go in signal chain?

In general, the tremolo should go last in all the modulation effects, after chorus, phaser, or flanger. By placing the tremolo before both the delay and reverb pedal, it will only affect the dry part of your sound, leaving the delay and reverb to sound even wilder.
