The easiest way to go about transposing is to fill in your new key signature, your time signature (which will not change at all), and write out every note paying close attention to the interval between your original notes and transposed notes, plus the intervals between the notes in the individual measures.

How do you transpose to a different key?
If you have chosen the transposition because you wanted a particular interval (say, a whole step lower or a perfect fifth higher), then the key changes by the same interval. For example, if you want to transpose a piece in D major up one whole step, the key also moves up one whole step, to E major.

How do you change the key of music notes?
Once you have opened a song in the Viewer screen, you will see a transpose button in the top toolbar. In this menu you will see a list of available transpositions. The key that the music is currently transposed to will have a green check to the right of it. To switch to another key, simply click on it.
