Mind The Mounting Screws

  1. First, put all screws through the Bridge Plate.
  2. Push Rubber Tubing on each screw.
  3. Push the tubing tightly against the bottom of the plate to ensure the screws stay straight.
  4. Start threading each screw into pickup, one turn at a time.

Are Telecaster pickups wired in series or parallel?

On a stock Tele, the pickups are connected in parallel when you use them together, but if you run them in series instead, the resulting output is hotter and louder, and this makes it much easier to drive your amp into saturation. If you're craving burly Tele tones, series wiring will deliver.

it's not totally needed, telecaster bridge pickups have an iron backplate that is coper plated, the screws will ground it. but for some extra security you can strip about 3/4 inches of wire and sandwich it between the bridge and the body, this is how most hard tail bridges are grounded.
