1. In the Data pane, right-click a field and select Create > Group.
2. In the Create Group dialog box, select several members that you want to group, and then click Group.

There are several ways you can group related members in Tableau. Right-click the field you want to group its members, Create >> Group… Group related members by selecting them, and then click Group. Rename your group accordingly.

To combine the fields, select multiple dimensions in the Data pane and then right-click (control-click on a Mac) the fields and select Create > Combined Field.

Can you group parameters in tableau?

If you create a combined field of [Parameter] and [Value (strin...] then you can group the combined field values (aka group Parameter 1 A and Parameter 1 C). You can give the groups friendlier names, and after the groups are created you do not need to keep the combined field in the view.
