The basic rule is that anything that can dull the vibrations of the wood could have a negative affect on tone, but, per Ibieta, “unless you're layering the guitar in stickers 99.9% of people won't notice much of a change in sound.”

Although placing stickers on a guitar can negligibly change its sound, it is safe for musicians to put them on the instrument. Unless you plan to layer the entire body with these items, it won't change how you play. Removing the stickers is more problematic.
