Does Simply Piano support the use of Bluetooth? Unfortunately, we don't support Bluetooth protocol due to latency issues on the devices. You will be able to hear the music but your playing will be delayed and therefore, we don't recommend it.

Does Simply Piano use Bluetooth?

While we do not support Bluetooth MIDI in Simply Piano, many of our learners successfully connect to Simply Piano with it. If you have trouble connecting to Simply Piano with Bluetooth MIDI, try connecting to another app that does support it (for example GarageBand) and then open Simply Piano.

Does Bluetooth MIDI have latency?

Bluetooth MIDI has delay ranging from a few millisecond to a few tens of milliseconds in comparison with USB. When the distance between the microKEY and the computer or iOS device gets longer, the latency can be higher. Please try placing the Bluetooth devices near to the computer or iOS device.

Can I use Simply Piano with headphones?

If you're using an acoustic piano or a keyboard without a MIDI connection, we highly recommend using headphones connected to your device while playing the app. This will prevent your microphone from picking up the background music from the app and improve note recognition accuracy.
