Sibelius line break

To manage the number of bars per system, just click on the barline you want to be the end of the system and hit return to create a line-break. CMD-return should do a page break.

Re: Sib. 7.5: how to delete system break in sibelius? the simplest thing to do is to select the bar that contains the break and use Layout > Format > Unlock Format. Just a user of Sibelius.

Obviously if you just made the split, you can just simply undo it.

It will however also undo the system split in the parts as well.

1. Select the bar after the split.
2. Activate Inspector.
3. In the Inspector set ”Gap before bar” to zero.

How do you set 4 bars per line in Sibelius?

In Sibelius 7, go to the Layout Tab, and select Auto Breaks from the Breaks Group. Check “Use auto system breaks” and select the radio button for Every X bars (Type in “4” or change the number of bars per system if you want more.)
