How do I see all instruments in MuseScore?
Click the arrow next to the instrument in "Instruments in Part" to expand the listing to show all staves and voices of the instrument.

Change instrument
- Right-click on an empty part of the measure and choose Staff Properties...
- Click on Change Instrument.
- Choose your new instrument and click OK to return to the Staff Properties dialog.
- Click OK again to return to the score.

From the main menu, choose File → Parts... to return to the Parts window. In the left pane, click to select a part that you want to create and view. Press Create Part and a new tab is added to the main MuseScore window containing your newly created part.
How do you make invisible parts in MuseScore?
One idea is in measure properties (right click a measure, choose measure (bar in GB) properties and there is a box at the top that says staff 1, staff 2 and so on. To the right of this are boxes you can use to make measures invisible in those staves and another to make the notes stemless in that measure.
