What is a reaper script?
top Introduction. ReaScript is a feature that allows you to edit, run and debug scripts within REAPER. Scripts are simple text files from which you can call any REAPER action, and also call back into most of the REAPER API functions (the same API used by compiled REAPER plug-ins and extensions).
How do I add a Lua script to Reaper?
If you want to install them manually:
- Put the lua files into (a subfolder of) the Scripts folder in the Reaper resource path (Options > Show Reaper resource path ...)
- Load the lua files via the Action List into the [Main] Sections mentioned above.
- Assign these actions to a key shortcut, a toolbar button, a menu, etc.
