What is a perfect cadence in a minor key?

A minor plagal cadence, also known as a perfect plagal cadence, uses the minor iv instead of a major IV. With a very similar voice leading to a perfect cadence, the minor plagal cadence is a strong resolution to the tonic.

Can a Plagal cadence be in a minor key?

Plagal cadences move from the subdominant IV chord to the tonic I chord in major or minor keys. It still sounds pretty final, although it is not as strong a finish as a perfect cadence. Both chords are major in a major key while both chords will be minor in a minor key.
