How can I test my microphone?
To test a microphone that has already been installed:
- Make sure your microphone is connected to your PC.
- Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
- In Sound settings, go to Input > Test your microphone and look for the blue bar that rises and falls as you speak into your microphone.
Is my mic working properly?
* On a mobile device scroll all the way up to see it appear. You should then see a line moving in the test area - beneath the words The mic test - whenever your mic "hears" a sound. If the line is moving when you talk into the mic , then the result of the test is that your microphone is working and properly configured!

Troubleshoot Microphone Issues on Windows
Go to the bottom right corner of your screen→ Right-click on “Audio.” You can see the sound settings of your PC; scroll down till you see the “Test your microphone” option. Below the option, click on Troubleshoot and start detecting what's wrong with your microphone.
How can I test my earphones mic?
Open Sound Recorder by clicking the Start button, then Accessories, Entertainment, and finally, Sound Recorder. Click the record button to start the recording. Talk into the microphone on your headset for about 10 seconds, and then click the Stop button.
