Click the Show/Hide Flex button in the Audio Track Editor menu bar. Choose Flex Pitch from the Flex pop-up menu in the Audio Track Editor menu bar. Select the regions you want to quantize. Choose the note value to use as the basis for timing quantization from the Time Quantize pop-up menu.
How do you quantize in Logic Pro?
Select a group of notes and go to the 'time quantize' menu on the left side of the piano roll window. Choose a value and click the 'Q' button and *only the selected notes* will get quantized.
What does Time quantize mean?
Explained simply, Quantizing is the method by which the sound is processed so it falls more in-line with the beat and the overall rhythm of the track. In other words, it allows us to alter the notes after the fact, to make the music more “on-time.”
