Can you replace Edge 3 with Floyd Rose?
The Edge III Trem is supposedly (almost) directly interchangeable with an Original Floyd Rose, so you could go for that.
Which Ibanez Edge is the best?
Out of the Ibanez selection, what is the best trem? Edge Pro or ZR are probably the best as far as Ibanez goes. The Edge III gets a lot of hate on here but if you don't abuse the trem they aren't bad.
Are Schaller and Floyd Rose interchangeable?
Schaller makes ALL of the 'real' Floyds. What everybody calls the "Schaller" Floyd is actually the Floyd II, which Floyd discontinued many years ago. Schaller is still using Floyd patent licensing to produce this. The difference is the base plate, it's cast on the II, with hardened inserts for the pivot points.
How do I tune my tremolo Edge 3?
③ To adjust the height of the tremolo arm, remove the tremolo spring cover on the back of the guitar and use an HEX key wrench (3 mm) to turn the height adjustment screws located on the bottom of the tremolo block. Tightening the screws clockwise will increase the height.
