Why is my Floyd Rose clicking?

Koshman, it's not exactly a creaking noise, it is literally a clicking noise. Pull off the back plate that covers the trem cavity. Play around with the trem to see if you see anything catching on anything. It could be a spring hitting something or such.

Can Floyd Rose be tuned down?

Thanks in advance. Yes - you can tune it lower - I'm assuming you mean going for drop C or B or whatever. (1) You will need to set up the Floyd Rose again - but you can do it yourself if you are patient. (2) Heavier strings will help - if you lower the tuning, light strings will flap around.
