Touch the Media Player Settings menu option. Touch the On button for the Gracenote Media Management setting. Touch the back arrow to return to the Media Player Settings menu. Press the Voice button and ask SYNC to play your favorite song, artist, album or genre.

How does Gracenote work in my car?

Gracenote can automatically identify any song playing from a radio station by matching the audio signal with its database. In a car, the radio display shows the song information as soon as the system recognizes its fingerprint, which can happen in just a few seconds.

Gracenote (previously known as the the CDDB database) is a free service to consumers that has been around for over a decade and and provides the online service that enables users with an internet connection to see complete track and album details when they insert a CD into their computer.

You can register your album with the Gracenote database by following the steps outlined on their website at https://www.gracenote.com/company/support/ or we'll do it for you when you manufacture physical discs and list your tracks in the IPR form when you purchase our Global Music Distribution Bundle.

Send CD information to Gracenote

If you don't see information for the CD, select the CD under Devices in the sidebar. Enter the song information for any of the songs. Click the Options button near the top right of the window, then choose Submit CD Track Names. Enter the artist and album information, then click OK.
