How do I turn off my amp?
To turn it off, just turn them both off, it doesn't matter. the standby mode only heats up the tubes without putting a signal through them, so why would you need to do it and leave a gap between flicking the two switches when you're turning the amp off? A good question!
Do amplifiers need to be turned off?
It is not bad to leave AV receivers and amps on all the time as most stereo equipment is set up to use minimal power and will go into standby mode when not in use. So leaving AV receivers and amps on or turning off between uses are both safe.
Why does my amp stay on when I turn my car off?
Registered. well if the amp is on and the car is off, the remote wire is pretty much the only reason that would happen. You need to check where you tapped that remote wire up at the hu. You need to have it connected to a wire that is only powered when the key is in the "on" position, or acc.
