How do I turn off my amp?
To turn it off, just turn them both off, it doesn't matter. the standby mode only heats up the tubes without putting a signal through them, so why would you need to do it and leave a gap between flicking the two switches when you're turning the amp off? A good question!

It is not bad to leave AV receivers and amps on all the time as most stereo equipment is set up to use minimal power and will go into standby mode when not in use. So leaving AV receivers and amps on or turning off between uses are both safe.
