Start PhotoScore. Go to File > Open to open your scanned image (shortcut Control + O or X + O). PhotoScore will adjust the image, making sure the music is correctly aligned, and that it recognizes clefs, systems and notes etc. The music will then be displayed in PhotoScore.

Does Sibelius have PhotoScore?
Developed by Neuratron, PhotoScore & NotateMe Lite is a free music scanning program included with Sibelius | Ultimate and Sibelius. With it, you can easily turn printed sheet music or notation in JPEGs and PDFs into editable scores that you can send to Sibelius | Ultimate or Sibelius for further editing.
How do I activate PhotoScore?
When you launch the PhotoScore installer, it will ask for your activation credentials (a two-part number that you have been given). Just type them in. Going to the web-site to "register" the product is a separate, subsequent, optional, operation.
Why is PhotoScore greyed out in Sibelius?
They're disabled, because they refer to separate programs which weren't installed: PhotoScore & AudioScore. Install these programs, so they can be recognised and launched by Sibelius in order to edit the imported data.
How do I download from PhotoScore?
Double-click the Install PhotoScore Lite icon to install PhotoScore Lite, and follow the on-screen instructions. If you want to open PDF files, you should also download and install Ghostscript.
