How do I memorize notes?
Learn the strings by remembering “Good Boys Do Fine Always.” For the spaces, remember “All Cows Eat Grass.” Each word corresponds to a note on the staff. By reading sheet music this way, you can begin figuring out where each note is on a piano. The bottom line corresponds to a G note, followed by a B, D, F, and A note.
How long does it take to remember piano notes?
If you can already play songs hands together it'll take you about 4 months to get good at playing piano by ear. If you're a complete beginner and you've never played a song hands together before, it'll take you about 6 months because you'll need to learn some other skills first. Of course, there are some caveats.
