How do you make a clear distorted guitar sound?
Two contrary ways to do this is:
- Don't use much distortion, if any, and just use medium gain with overdrive.
- Use a metal pedal that doesn't require too much gain: simple square wave distortion can be quite clean.
How do you reduce noise on bias FX?
1. Go to Audio Setting (of BIAS FX 2 or your DAW), set the Sample Rate to 48k or lower, set the Buffer Size to 256 or higher. 2. Avoid opening other applications at the same time, and turn off unnecessary applications running in the background.
Why does bias FX sound bad?
Just mess with all of the different volumes and levels of the inputs, outputs, and the amp itself on both the software and hardware side. That's usually the main culprit of poor sounds.
