How to clean rust off bass pickups

It's easy to remove dirt, grime, and rust from your guitar pickups. A few squirts of compressed air will blow out thick dust. And a little penetrating oil will remove unwanted surface rust. A simple white vinegar soak will make the rust disappear from your pole screws.

Just put one teaspoon of vinegar in a cup of hot water and mix it. Soak the cloth in the mixture and wring it thoroughly. You don't want wet cloth to clean your pickups with it. The cloth has to be just dampen enough.
