Clean The Chrome
An easy trick to remove light rust and surface grit is to clean it with aluminum foil and Coca-Cola, of all things. It sounds weird, but it works really well. Simply apply a small amount of Coke to the chrome and use a piece of lightly crumpled aluminum foil just as if it were a polishing cloth.

let them soak overnight or 24 hours,then simply polish with some chrome cleaner or even any kind of wax. personally, i dont clean cymbals, some do and some dont. brasso will work.
How do you polish chrome hardware?
If you don't want to use cola, or the cola didn't clean everything, you can mix a solution of baking soda and vinegar. Start with about 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and slowly add the vinegar. It will foam and bubble, then create a paste. Apply the paste on the hardware in a circular motion.
