The RISE's battery charges when the RISE is plugged into a power-supplied device through the USB cable or directly to a power source. With your Seaboard RISE connected to your computer by USB, open ROLI Dashboard from your computer's applications/programs folder.
How do you know if Roli is charging?
Battery indication
The Power LED will display green when fully charged, yellow when partially charged and red when the charge is below 20%. The Power LED flashes when the Block is being charged and is solid when not charging.
How do you turn on Roli?
Pairing by MIDI-over-Bluetooth allows you to play your ROLI instrument wirelessly, and is different from normal Bluetooth pairing. Unplug the Seaboard RISE's USB cable. Press Power/Mode button at the bottom left to switch the Seaboard RISE on. The Power/Mode button will flash blue – it is ready for Bluetooth pairing.
How do you charge a seaboard block?
First connect the Seaboard Block to a USB 3 power source (like an iPad charger or Macbook USB 3 port) with the included USB-C cable. Connect the Control Block to the Lightpad or Seaboard Block via DNA connectors to begin charging it. For fastest charging times, turn the Blocks off during charging.
