How long does it take to develop your head voice?
Just like some people learned to walk faster than others or learned how to talk sooner, so to do people progress differently with voice. For most people it typically takes three years to get all the foundations down. That being said, when you have all the foundations down as a singer, you'll be a very good singer.
How do you develop a head voice?
Start with a yawn sigh and stop somewhere in the top of your voice and hold the note. Add volume and suddenly you are singing in head voice. Now try stopping on different pitches and holding out the note. Keep one hand on your chest to see if it vibrates.
How long does it take to develop a mixed voice?
With daily practice, how long would it normally take a novice vocalist to understand and master the mixed voice technique? Definitely more than one week! Don't worry, it will come. --- One thing you might try, if you haven't yet -- sing down a scale instead of up when looking for that mix.
How long does it take to develop falsetto?
3-6 months. Sing in falsetto everywhere you go. Better yet, learn to harmonize (if you can't already) and harmonize in falsetto every time you hear a song.
