What do FretWraps do bass?

FretWraps are adjustable straps that wrap easily around the neck of your guitar to dampen or mute the strings. FretWraps can also be used for live recording when you want to keep unwanted string noise or ringing at bay. Many guitarists here at Sweetwater utilize FretWraps to enhance their playing.

The extra padding in these fret wraps means you get better control over muting your strings. With one of these in place, it's possible to play very aggressively or loosely without worrying about sympathetic resonance or string noise.
