Frequency modulation (FM) synthesis. FM synthesis uses a modulator oscillator and a sine wave carrier oscillator. The modulator oscillator modulates the frequency of the waveform generated by the carrier oscillator within the audio range, thus producing new harmonics.
How do you synthesis sound?
