What is fingerstyle on bass?
Fingerstyle guitar is the technique of playing the guitar or bass guitar by plucking the strings directly with the fingertips, fingernails, or picks attached to fingers, as opposed to flatpicking (plucking individual notes with a single plectrum, commonly called a "pick").
Is fingerstyle harder than picking?
Strumming is easier than Fingerstyle because you play all the notes relevant to that chord. Fingerstyle is harder than strumming because you are picking individual notes and this requires greater finger dexterity.
