How many grades are there in the Trinity drums?

We offer drum kit and percussion exams from Initial to Grade 8. The Initial exam acts as an introduction to the exam system for new performers.

How many grades are there in drums?

There are eight LCM Drum Kit grades, four performance diplomas and three teaching diplomas. The standard graded exams consist of a performance of three pieces, technical work (rudiments), sight reading, a discussion and aural tests.

How long does it take to get to grade 4 drums?

The Grade 4 Drum exam is for candidates who have been learning approximately two - two and half years and have mastered the basic skills, preliminary techniques and have acquired the beginnings of stylistic awareness.
