What is cinematic composing?
Composition refers to how the elements on screen (actors, scenery, props, etc.) appear in respect to each other and within the frame itself. In the earliest days of cinema, film composition basically mimicked that of a stage play. Directors staged all actors and important information to face the audience.
Is Thinkspace any good?
Highly recommended. Having taken a number of courses (Template in a Weekend, Composer Blueprints Training, DAW to Score, Sampled Orchestration in a Weekend) and am currently in the middle of Music for the Media, I can highly recommend Thinkspace courses to anyone interested in music composition for film, TV or games.
Is Thinkspace education accredited?
Usually but not always. A lot of universities, including the University of Chichester with whom we are accredited, allow entry through RPL, or recognition of prior learning. This allows established professionals to enter the master's program without a bachelor's degree.
