We generally suggest trying buffers at the beginning of your chain (just after the fuzz section), or at the very end of your pedal chain. Either spot generally works for buffer placement. Placement of wah is hotly contested!

Where should I put my buffer pedal?
A general guideline would be to insert the buffer between the guitar and first pedal, and no further forward in than the last overdrive pedal. If you use several true bypass pedals, there's a good chance your ensuing signal will weaker as they don't have any effect on incoming signal.
Does tuner go before Wah?
The tuner pedal should go first in the effect signal chain. This is to allow the cleanest signal into the pedal for viewing the most accurate tuning pitch. Positioning the tuner pedal after other effects (distortion, modulation, EQ pedals, etc) can distort the notes in the signal affecting pitch accuracy.
Should fuzz go before or after Wah?
Placing the fuzz in front of the wah results in a more intense wah effect, because the fuzz increases the amount of harmonic material the wah filter has to work on. Placing the fuzz after the wah will tend to reduce how dramatic the wah sounds, but may result in frequency peaks in the fuzz tone as the wah is swept.
Is a wah pedal a buffer?
Yes – there are some exceptions. (Most) Fuzz pedals, treble booster and Wah pedals don't like a buffered (low impedance) signal. They love to get fed by the high impedance straight of your guitar.
