Can I use guitar processor for bass?

Yes, you can use any guitar compressor for bass. Some guitar compressor pedals will sound better than others for bass, but all of them should work. Is Boss GT 1b good?

Boss GT1B. Nicely made, feels very durable and can handle some abuse. The sound is very good but plan on spending alot of time setting up effects and tones you want cause 80 percent of factory settings are cool sounds but not very usable i think. This thing eats batteries like you wont believe.

What does a Chorus pedal do?

A chorus pedal is a great way to create thicker sounds from a single signal. By taking your source signal, doubling it and setting the second signal slightly out of tune and time with the first, a chorus pedal can create the sound of two instruments playing simultaneously.
