How do I move tracks from session view to Arrangement view in Ableton?
In the Session View, click to select the clips you want to transfer - individual ones or a multiple selection - click-hold one of the selected clips, hit the Tab key to switch to the Arrangement view, then drag the clip to the desired position in the timeline and release - simple!
How do I get to the Arrangement view in Ableton?
You can start Arrangement playback by clicking the Control Bar's Play button, and stop playback by clicking the Stop button. Arrangement playback can also be toggled on and off by pressing the keyboard's space bar.
How do you add clips to arrangements in Ableton?
To do that, while in Session select the clip(s) you want, hold the left mouse button and press Tab to switch view to Arrangement - then just place the clip where you want and let go of the left mouse button.
