Are Les Paul Juniors for kids?
The Les Paul Junior is an excellent full-sized beginner guitar for kids ages 11+. It was created by Epiphone (Gibson's cheaper line of guitars) as a way for players to get an instrument that looks, sounds, and feels like a real Gibson Les Paul but at an affordable price.
What is the difference between a Les Paul Standard and Junior?
Compared to the Les Paul Standard, the Les Paul Junior is a “stripped-down” version. It is a cheaper model that comes with one or two P90 pickups, no carved top, one volume knob, one tone knob, and a simplified wrap-around tailpiece bridge. It also costs considerably less compared to the Les Paul Standard.
