How is the KET exam scored?
Introducing the Cambridge English Scale
In the live exams, each of the skills and Use of English are equally weighted, and a candidate's overall score is calculated by adding all of the individual scores together and dividing by five (and then rounding to the nearest whole number).
What is a good Ket score?
Valid scores on the A2 Key exam range from 100 to 150. A score of 120 or above is considered a “pass” and students with that score will receive the KET Exam certificate, which corresponds to a level A2 in English on the CEFR.
What level is KET exam?
Cambridge English Qualifications: A2 Key, also known as the Key English Test (KET), is the lowest level General English exam in the Cambridge English range. It shows that you can communicate in basic English in everyday situations.
How are pet scores calculated?
In the PET exam you get an overall score (140-160 on the Cambridge English Scale), but you also get a score for each of the four parts Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The overall score is the average of the four different parts.
