What is second harmony?
The simplest form of harmony singing is when you create a second vocal part that goes well with the lead singer's main melody. You often hear this in the refrains of popular songs, where the second voice 'adds weight' or gives emphasis to the chorus of the song.
Is it hard to sing harmony?
Singing harmony can be tricky at first and can often make a musician feeling vulnerable. It takes a little practice and a little patience but once you can start singing harmony it's a very powerful tool you can use in your bag of tricks as a musician.
