How do you play one hand louder than the other on piano?
Practice for a few bars the left hand alone in a cycle and then add the little passages from the right. Try to lift the fingers of the right hand a little higher, depress them a little faster, and keep them on the keys a little longer, as if you insisted on the note.
How can I make my left hand softer on the piano?
I'd make three suggestions:
- play some Bach.
- play some pieces with a staccatto in one hand and a legato in the other (even scales will be fine for this)
- play the piece deliberately trying to make the LH louder, then try again trying to make it softer, then try to vary it on different notes/beats.
